New Loco Honour Roll 1914-1919, Railway Remembrance Wall, Central Station

Description

A polished wooden board with a little motif and the words 'Lest we forget' across the top. Names are in gilt behind a glass pane. The memorial is located near platform 23 as part of the Railway Remembrance Wall.

Additional information by Sydney Trains:

A carved wooden Honour Roll board, with 31 Locoworks New Loco railways employees names who served in the First World War written in gilt, encased behind a glass pane. It was decorated with tiny Allied flags and the words 'Lest we forget' above.

It was produced by New Loco staff, and was relocated after its closure in 1990, and fixed to the western Railway Remembrance Wall at Central Station.
