The NSW War Memorials Register will undergo essential upgrades from 3 July. If you have draft submissions ready, please submit them before 3 July.
Sydney Hospital houses several large honour boards for the Second World War. Each board consists of three or four white marble plaques, set within an elaborately-carved, dark timber frame. The veterans' names are engraved into the marble and blackened. They are grouped according to the veterans' role in the hospital (e.g. nursing staff). A small Sydney Hospital badge is included at the top of one of the boards.
