A large carved wooden Honour Roll board, in the classical style of a temple front. The names of Redfern Electrical Workshops railways staff who served in the First World War are written in gilt in two columns. The top of the board contains a painting of a red ribbon with the words 'For King & Country' printed in gold, and 'Men From the Staff of the Electrical W/shops, Redfern Who Left to Fight for Home & Freedom' below.
At a later stage, the names of Electrical Workshops employees who served in the Second World War were added to bottom of the second column. It was produced by Electrical Workshops staff, and after its closure in 1988 was placed in storage. As of 2016, it is on display within Sydney Trains' offices.
