Murwillumbah Services Memorial Club Memorial Wall
Description
The memorial is a concrete wall, which is fully faced with white tiles. It is positioned in front of a flagpole, in the front garden of the Murwillumbah Services Memorial Club. There are several bronze plaques attached to the wall, dedicated in honour of conflicts and peacekeeping missions in which Australia has been involved.
Some of the plaques also include the emblems of the Australian Commonwealth Horse, the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), Australian Imperial Force, the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), Australia Commonwealth Military Forces, the Returned & Services League Australia, and the Australian flag.
The memorial was dedicated by Father Anthony Lemon of the Sacred Heart Parish on 11 December 2017.

These plaques are dedicated to all those who served and paid for freedom with their lives.
We pay homage to those who served since in the Gulf War, East Timor, Iraq, Afghanistan, and all peacekeeping and other conflicts since.
We also honour those who suffered injuries as a result of their service.
Each has won a glorious grave not that sepulchre of earth wherin they lie, but the living tomb of everlasting remembrance wherein their glory is enshrined. For the whole earth is the supreme sepulchre of heroes. Monuments may rise and tablets be set up to them in their own land. But on the far off shores there is an abiding memorial that no pen or chisel has traced. It is graven not on stone or brass, but on the living hearts of humanity. Take these men for example like them, remember that prosperity can only be for the free that freedom is the sure possession of those alone who have the courage to defend it.
